Simple Strawberry Banana Protein Shake

This classic take on a strawberry banana smoothie is the perfect way to get your protein and fuel so you can fill up before being active.

Ingredients

To make this, you’ll need:

  • 1 peeled banana
  • 1 c frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 c Greek yogurt 
  • 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (Vanilla, chocolate, or plain works best)
  • 1/2 c ice
  • 1/2 t full-spectrum CBD oil
  • A pinch of honey
  • A splash of coconut water or unflavored water (to help it blend)

Instructions

  1. Combine all of your ingredients in a blender, making sure that you add a small amount of water to ensure it can blend well. 
  2. Protein powder tends to make shakes thick. If you want your smoothie to be thinner, add more water until you’ve reached the texture you like.
  3. Blend all of your ingredients for at least 60 seconds or until it reaches your desired consistency.
